Description:Tisocalcitate is a new vitamin D analogue that has been developed for the treatment of plaque type psoriasis.The clinical trials, that have been conducted, demonstrated that once daily (qd) application of 5 µg/g, 12,5 µg/g, 25 µg/g, or 50 µg/g tisocalcitate ointment and twice daily (bid) application of 50 µg/g tisocalcitate ointment is safe and efficacious in the treatment of mild to severe plaque type psoriasis.
