What are the uses of Phthalic acid

1. Phthalic acid is used to prepare standard solutions for the alkali method. Determination of cobalt, copper, bismuth, mercury, nickel, potassium, cesium and zinc. Determination of cobalt, iodate, lead, and the like.
2. Phthalic acid is used as an analytical reagent, and as a masking agent, a buffer solution is prepared for chromatographic analysis.
3. Phthalic acid is used to prepare dyes, polyester resins, polyesters, pharmaceuticals and plasticizers. Phthalic acid can be used in place of Phthalic acid in the application. Phthalic acid is a raw material for synthetic resins, fibers, drugs, and the like. It is an important organic industrial product. Used as a reference reagent for gas chromatography reference materials and certain metals. Phthalic acid forms phthalic anhydride after dehydration. Phthalic anhydride is an important raw material for polyurethane industry. Its products are used in the production of polyurethane insulation materials, and its performance is better than polyether.
