Use :Jaceosidin has been shown to exert anticancer, anti-oxidative, anti-inflammatory, and immunosuppressive effects. Jaceosidin inhibits the TPA-induced upregulation of cyclooxygenase-2 and matrix metalloproteinase-9 by blocking extracellular signal-regulated protein kinase-1 and -2 phosphorylation in human breast epithelial cells, which may be indicative of its chemopreventive potential.
